Got a late start into vintage cars (16). Started out by going to shows, meeting people and hearing there stories. Favorite pass time is to listen to all the old timers tell stories about when they were my age and all the Kool cars they once owned, and if they only knew then what they knew now. Working on and driving these antiques is a reminder of how things use to be, a glance back in time when things were easier(so I hear). History of where we are now and how we got here and if I, we, dont continue to rescue and restore history will be lost and so will we. Or at least thats the way I see it.
