at age 13(early 70's) got a 54 Studey pu, put in a Cad. 390, auto trans, posi. rear and the fun began! 59 T-birds,56 Ford sedan delivery, customized 61 Volvo, 37 Ford, 56 Chevy, 40 Stude, chopped first top in 79, my 2nd Studey pu, marriage slowed things down, worked on other peoples cars, old school metalwork, chopped tops, engine swaps, restorations. Back injury stopped me in the late 80's, college to be a teacher, taught an auto shop class for at-risk kids for 12 years and worked part time in a restoration shop. School politics got to be too much and went to restoration full time, 2 years later had my own shop, almost 5 years now. Several show winners, 57 Chevy conv, 26 Ford T coupe, 34 Ford 4dr, 56 Jag Mk7, 51 Chevy coupe gasser. I personally love the odd/orphan cars. several in progress right now.
