At age 10 (1958) was recruited by neighborhood rodders to assist them (gofer), at 12 helped a man who had a small garage doing engine building and swapping, then the "little pages" R&C and HOT ROD, the addiction became permanent. Had several early '50's cars with Olds 394 and 331 Hemi swaps (well, not "true" rodding swaps, there were plenty of bolt-in aftermarket mounts and adapters in the early-mid "60's). Did the muscle car thing in the '70's as the rod thing was changing not to my liking. Tried AACA in the '80's and went back to real cars but by 1990 could not resist changing the car to my taste and needs, so was "expelled" by AACA. Have been a lone wolf for years as the $$$$billettechnorods were also a turnoff. Y'all feel like home, glad I discovered y'all. Am rusty and have forgotten alot but will help anyone I can and will keep my mouth shut when I can't. Glad to be here, Thanks y'all.
