I've been into hot rods since I was about 10 or so. Unlike a lot of people in the hobby, my dad wasn't really into the cars, but luckily my brother was. We've since gotten my dad into the old car hobby, kind of back asswards, but it works. The first car I bought was a '46 Ford Coupe, I never got a chance to restore it and was forced to sell it to get it out of my parents garage. I now drive a '52 Pontiac Chieftain with a Straight 8 and a Hydramatic. It's a fun car and I've found that there aren't very many of them around, so I like it. I have a young daughter and I'm really looking forward to bringing her into the car hobby. For now she likes riding with me to shows.
