I have always been interested the period surrounding the "War Years" and the years immediatley following. The Art, the Style, Music...the ingenuity. I prefer the simplistic approach to building traditional Hot Rods. All buisness, no frills, straight to the action. I do not consider the term Rat Rod in my interest. Rat rods are shoddy, Hasty little contraptions that invite an accident to happen when you least need one. My interest has led me to meet many fine people and learn quite a few interesting things. As a result of my interest I had an opportunity, with the help of some very good friends to start a car club that hosted a very enjoyable Hot Rod Rumble out here on the east a few years back.
