Retired Forest Industry: ....I grew up in Oregon, but at times varied between CO and NM for my father's work situations (where the work was seasonal logging). I spent lots of time around family members hot rods and my grandfather's 1940's & 50's log trucks...it grew into a very deep passion of diesel trucks and old cars....I worked in Alaska, Oregon, and New Mexico most years. I retired in 2012 & moved/settled permanently in Western part of Colorado, which we love!
Finally started on my projects, after way to many years of only 'planning' & storing them, collecting parts necessary; when time came I could have the time & room to pursue the dreams... I'm doing most work myself, slow and steady, learning at the same time ''the process'' with help of my encouraging wife, a few friends, and the 3 hooligan Cocker-Spaniels who bark constantly for encouragement and support... I enjoy most every aspect of old cars & trucks, whether restored or sports cars...but, partial to nostalgic hot rods, and old log trucks....I relate to them well.
