I'm originally from Wisconsin and moved to Georgia in 2001. I've been married for three and a half years to a wonderful woman, who supports my passion for all things automotive, eventhough she doesn't always understand it.
I've been into cars, hot rods, and just about any type of machinery since I was old enough to talk. As a kid I used to love to hang out in junkyards looking at the old cars and wondering what their life was like before they got to the scrap heap. Since my early teens I've been turning wrenches for friends and family members and when I got my own car at 16, I was out there every weekend trying to improve it. It was a '86 Olds Cutlass that I dropped a 350 Rocket into. Needless to say I got into quite a bit of trouble with that car. Even though my first car was a GM product, I've always been a Mopar freak. Mostly because I believe that Chrysler has been ahead of the others as far as performance and technology, but also to piss off my dad who is a Chevy man. Now finally I have one of the Mopar products that I've always wanted, a Dodge from the beginning of the Forward Look era. She's a dark blue '55 Royal sedan that I plan on turning into a badass rendition of the old Moonshine cars, by dropping in a big block B/RB engine, Torqueflite tranny, and Suregrip rear end.
