    55 Chevy Bel Air 4 door & 57 Chevy 2 door post
Im far from being a mechanic , hell I'm quite a few clicks under a Shade tree mechanic. But I do love old cars and enjoy working on them as long as I occasionaly accidently fix something. Im currently trying to finish (by MY standards) a 55 Chevy 4 door that Ive been working on (on & off) for the last 22 years. It was my first car and my dad bought it for me when I was 16. Thanks to an exwife , the economy & child support I'm on a pretty tight budget. But whenever I get two nickels to rub together I'm more then likely gonna spend it on one of my heaps (I also have a secondary project a 57 chevy 2 door post). The 57 was really too far gone when I bought it.... but now I have too much money & time wrapped up in it to turn around ( I'm sure some of ya'll can relate with that). And there is a certian amount of pride in saving a piece of American history that probabily wasn't fit to be crushed. If not for these two ragged ass cars I could prolly live a much more comfortable life (as my EX-wife was fond of reminding me). But what the hell, everybody needs a hobby.
