My father put a 283-corvette engine into a '63 Rambler and shortened the driveshaft, welded with coathanger. Two uncles each owned 57 Chevvies; A work colleague of my father used to show a '55 Chevy Nomad (Dinoland) out of st. catharines. As young boys, my father took us to the drags at the old Niagara Falls (NY) air force base to see the LA Dart, Little Red Wagon, and to the annual Buffalo custom car shows. hooked ever since. My second car was a '68 GTO. Wish I still had one.
