I started out with sports cars and autocrossing. Did some drag racing also with newer late model stuff. I was always around people with rods and customs, just never had the dough to have a second car besides the sporty junk. I'm tired of dreaming about real cars and life is short, so all the sports car shit is gone and I'm looking for something OLD.

I quit the IT field to become a mechanic. Almost went automotive, but have been into airplanes since before I could talk, so I do that not. I am big time into the warbirds although I presently work on an Irish contraption called the Shorts 330 (C-23). It has a twin tail like the B-24 and B-25, swings propellers although it has the WRONG kind of engines. It ain't too bad either; flew halfway around the world and back on it. Anyhow, with the obsession with the OLD airplanes I don't know why I never ditched the other stuff sooner. I haven't had much fun with it in years and it's time to enjoy cars again.
