Over the course of his life my father owned 30 49-51 Mercury coupes, i still own the last one he ever bought. I have been collecting and building cars since the mid seventies, of all makes and models. I currently am a retired Union carpenter enjoying my hobby, and putting the skills ive learned over the years to use. I have a particular interest in 49-51 mercurys, mid year ford car, and truck. Ive been following the "Kustom" scene since my early life, and some of my happiest memories include my fathers y-block powered candy apple red 51 coupe complete with dual boomerang 56 packard tailight housings. (that was in an issue of Rod N Custom sometime in the early 60's still searching for the issue), and the delivery of a mercury hood, riddled with 200 hand punched louvers, that i still own today. Hot Rodding and "kustom"-izing cars is in my blood and i know it well, and more than anything i enjoy sharing the hobby with my friends and family.
