First car in the mid 1960's was a 30 Model A with a 283 with dual WCFB carbs and a BW T10. Drove it to school for 2 years . Had a 1937 Chevy Altered that we raced at Thompson Drag raceway in the late 60's. Started a 29 roadster on 32 rails in the early 70's but several work moves and a family got in the way and I sold it as a roller. Did restored tractors, big trucks, and construction equipment. Time to get back to building that 29 hi boy. May not be less expensive but the parts are sure a lot smaller and lighter!
