32 years old. Been looking for a project to get into engines, building, resto, etc. Had begged Grandad for his old '51 Chevy that had been retired from his service station (Texaco) and later for farm use since I was a little boy. He gave it to me about 2 months before he died. It had been in the barn since mid seventies as far as anyone can remember. "It was running when we parked it, etc". My mother, who is no longer with us, learned to drive in this truck, so sentimental value abounds. Marvel Mystery oil is my friend.... Spent a total of about 100.00 (points, plugs, condenser, wires, battery, etc) and about 5 hours getting her running. Keeping it that way has been a whole other story...

Was in the new Mustang scene for a while, spent too much money, and had not enough fun. Classics are where its at! Only group i've ever been involved in where people give knowledge, advice, and (sometimes) parts for free, just to help another fellow enthusiast out. So, thanks in advance...
