About
I have been a mechanic for 30 years. Starting off on cars then heavy trucks then a field mechanic for a heavy equipment dealer. Now an equipment superintendent for a large construction and mining company.
My father (who passed away in 2007) was one of the original 1950's hot rodders. Crew cut, black tee shirt with the lucky strikes rolled up in the sleeve building fenderless rods, chopped and shaved customs and so forth. He had his entire old car magazine collection that I read from the time I could read.
I have been building vehicles since my first one I bought for $75 a week before I turned 16. I have built several since and a few motorcycles too. Built a wicked 57 chevy pickup when I was 19 and currently work on a 1917 buick truck.Interact
