Started drag racing in 1964 with friend's Falcon Sprint. Later had '55 Bel Air, '59 Impala Convertible, '55 Sedan Delivery and '65 Chevelle drag car and '67 Camaro RS/SS.
Started automotive career in parts dept. of Chevy, Olds, Cadillac dealer in 1969. Worked as parts & service manager for Harold Ramsey when he bought the Pontiac dealership in 1970 and opened my own business in 1982.
In 1984 I started doing some mail-order business after becoming a WD for TCI Transmissions and represented them at NHRA Div. 1 race events. The relationship with TCI allowed me to access the starting line for photos via my sponsor credentials. There I got to meet some of the great photographers, writers and editors in the automotive publishing business.
In 1989 I added a machine shop to the repair business. We built custom engines, did restorations and built racing engines for drag cars, APBA boats and dabbled in NASCAR Busch North.
Presently enjoying motorcycle riding, kayaking and photography.Interact
