Well I guess it all started when I was 10 or 11, I got really in to lowrider bikes.Me and my dad put a few together and had a lot of fun doing it.
Then as I got older lowrider cars but a chromed out impala was so beyond My means. All I could do was read magazines and daydream. Then one day I was reading a "custom rodder" magazine (late 90's?)and saw some tiny pictures of the "shifters" and "chiselers" cars in event coverage from paso.I didn't really know what they were or what they were all about but all of a sudden I had to know more.
I grabbed every magazine of the day looking for more info and pics.(no Internet.) and slowly, little by little month by month I learned more and more.
Well long story short. I realized a car didn't have to be a totally perfect, chromed out show car to be super cool. And it seemed like something achievable for a young kid without deep pockets.
So more or less since then I haven't really looked back.
Its all about early Hotrods, I'm obsessed.
Although I still have a soft spot for lowriders.
