Stick Shift

I was born in 1967. When I was 7 my dad had a new Chevy short box truck with flames and side pipes and 50s. About the same time I got to ride in a rumble seat of model a coupe street rod my dad help build. It was in Rod Action I think. I think those two cars got me started. At a young age my parents said I could tell the year make and model of cars when we were on trips. I have hung around body shops while growing up. My dad use to take me with him to swap meets and car shows since I was 5 or 6. In the 70s and 80s I attended many NSRA events. I grew up reading all of my dads old car mags from the 50s and 60s. I really like old hot rods, 50 and 60s stuff. I dig the Street Freak stuff from 60s and 70s too. I love Old Cars in general I guess.
