Been playing with cars since about 1953.
Had to fix them or walk. Liked the smell of grease.
Rebuilt first engine (53 Ply) in 1958, in a sand pit. Do not
recommend this. It worked for another 100,000+.
Been working on cars ever since. Never got a chance to
build anything nice. Had to work for a living and raise
kids etc. Maybe my turn to do something that I always
wanted to do. Lately I've gotten interested in metal lathes
and simple (?) body work. Have a friend that builds them
from the ground up. Strangely he asks my advice.
