- I've had many stock 1930s antique cars over the years but the only car now is a 1931 Ford full-fendered coupe hot rod ... On the road June 2011, still got a little work to do on it but I'm too busy driving it.

Always been interested since my father got a new 1957 Pontiac when I was in High School. My first car (in 1958) was a 1949 Ford convert. First old car was a 1931 Ford pick-up purchased from the original owner in 1962 for $75, drove it home. Have had many old 1930s cars since then (plus a 1954 Jaguar XK-120). First real project was a 1931 Ford coupe in the 1980s, a fenderless rod which I built from the frame (2X4 tube) up. Then came a 1951 Merc that I dropped a 350 Chev with AT into (used the original Mercomatic column shifter; this was actually an easy swap), drove it cross country to Arizona pulling a travel trailer in 1991. Got back into the hobby a few years ago and built a full fendered 1930 Ford coupe rod which I have now.
Currently collecting parts for my next build, have the DeSoto hemi, '30 coupe body....Interact
