I started with Hot Rods when I was 16 with a 1947 Ford Pick-up that I dropped a Small Block 302 Ford Engine with a three speed trans and rear. Painted it black and did a hand flame job. My dad raced dirt modifieds in the late 60's and we had the tools. Now I'm 41 and last year I purchased a 1928 Ford Model A Tudor. Not a hot rod but not restored. I call it a Rat-Restoration so far. It is still off the road but I hope in the next month to take it for it's first drive since a gentleman in Oklahoma took her off the road in 1945. Speed parts will come as I enjoy the car. I am stuck between the HAMB and MAFCA so I learn from both. This is a great site. Thanks. Update: I have purchased my fathers old modified that he raced in NJ the #98 (Ralph Carlsen).Interact
