    1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe

    1971 Ford Pinto V8 Street/race car ( sold it :( )

    1927 Chevrolet 4 door sedan
    Toppers Alameda
My family has been in the hot rod world since the dawn of time. My great grandfather had a signal gas station in Oakland CA. Tommy "the greek" a local pin striper and custom painter had started his striping career striping in the parking lot of the signal gas station. My grand father helped start the Toppers car club of Alameda. Then when a local policeman gave the club grief they moved to Oakland. They held get togethers and even had a CHP officer come by and show videos, photos and demonstrations on automotive safety and regulations.

My grand father had a 1955 chrysler new yorker of which won many trophies at the Fremont drag strip for its class.

I got into the industry working under an old bodyman who is/was a local hot rodder, in many clubs, and owns many hot rods still. I currently work for a mustang restoration shop, restoring Shelbys, mustangs, and specialty fords. Although we do anything of value. You can check out our shop at www.themustangguys.com

I am a younger guy who has always felt that I have been born in the wrong time. I am always listening to big band/50's music, wear PF flyers, levis with the cuffs rolled up and plaid button shirts. Slicked back hair and cheap glasses. That is me..

I have a blog also that has alot of vintage/retro/old school articles, you can view it at www.vividlyvintage.com

I also have a work log blog for my 55 Chrysler new yorker deluxe project car. it is www.pops55.com
