Like many, I got into old cars from going to shows with my dad as a child. My father got into old cars from his dad. My grandfather was into customs in the San Diego area back in the 50's. According to my grandfather, he was the first to have a purple car in San Diego... It was on a leaded out 36 chevy that he painted himself. My dad has a real deal steel 33 coupe that he still owns today. I grew up on lowriders. my first car was a 53 chevy that I drove in high school. As I got older I fell in love with customs and hotrods of the traditional flavor........
