I grew up in the fifties and sixties. Followed in my brother's footsteps, he had a 47 Merc with an Oldmobile engine. I learned a bunch by helping him. My first jalopy I built using a 28 Chevy frame, 4cyl. I've had a whole list of cars and trucks including a 51 Ford F-1 flathead 3 spd
55 Chevy 283 3 spd overdrive, 64 Chevy Impala, 327 4 spd, 40 Chevy 235 3 spd, 66 Chevelle 396 4 spd, Vega GT w V-6 Buick. 70 Buick Skylark 355" Chevy drag race car....75 Monza 355 race motor, Super Gas car. I've drag raced, raced figure eights, and crewed on a semi professional drag race team. I've basically retired from racing and spend my non business hours building these old trucks.
