i'm 71yo, been working on cars since 1964. Got into vws when I worked at a hippy garage right out of high school, worked at independent shops, and dealers, (vw/porsche), built various hotrods. Now that I'm semi-retired, I run an aircooled porsche 911 repair biz at my home shop at a bit slower pace, and try to get a hotrod project or 5 done in my spare time.
