Howdy, Old guy here..... had a dragster back in the 60's, have a Suzuki bracket bike now and for the last few years I was building a one place helicopter around an Allison C-18 turbine engine. About six months ago my wife told me if I wanted to finish the helicopter, I'd have to get a full time job - to which I immediately responded, "Let me give that some serious thought, No thanks!" So, I've decided to try to build a rod. And after all, isn't collecting parts half the fun? My vision is probably what's reffered to as low-bucker. I'm looking to build a '27 Ford Lakester style rod using a 4 cylinder engine and possibly no chrome.
