When I was a boy of 8- 9 my cousin started buying 32 & 34 Fords. I was hooked & had to have one. He had 36 32 Fords at one time. I got to paint the wheels on his 32 5 window stock car when I was 12. I got a 36 5 windo when I was 12 and had to sell it when I got drafted after college. I built a 3 5/16 x 4 1/8 flathead with Lincoln valve springs, Ford tractor adjustable lifters, giovanni 999 cam, nos 21 a rods, nos 48 merc block, Edelbrock heads, Fenton headers, lightweight alum pistons, aluminum flywheel and more with my $5.00 per week mowing money. Didn't get it running till I was 17 and thought I really had something. We are the 5th oldest Ford Dealership in the world and Nebraska's oldest starting in April of 1909. I have had my 32 3window since 1973. Bill Smith just called me from Speedway Motors and told me to check out the jalopy journal. If you haven't seen his museum its a must see!
