Never owned a new car. Started with muscle cars in the eighties. Went to hot rods. Never Street rods. Do all my work. No crate motors. Welding, paint. Use old parts whenever possible or safe.
Don't understand the whole ratrod thing. Doane Spencer never made a grill out of barbed wire. Alot of these, (not all) just look plain silly. Roll it out of the shop and just look at it for a while.
Honestly are you really proud of that rusted wrench window crank?
