im 49 yrs old been married to angie for 17 yrs iv'e been into cars in general for about 34 yrs. my first car was a 65 impala 4 dr pillarless hardtop then a 74 z-28 then a 72 nova with a built straight 6 cyl and 4 speed then i resurected a rusty 68 fairlane swaping out the 200 cid 6 for a 400-M cleavland. after the fairlane i got married, bought a house and etc. so there was a long dry spell between good project cars. in that time most of my projects were just keeping my daily driven junk on the road. about 3 years ago a friend and I stoped by a little used car lot so he could check out a deralict road runner he hoped to buy for parts. the ask was too high but before we left we looked at a 70 AMX that seemed to be in solid fairly solid cond. minus the engine and trans(4 speed) the ask was 800.00 so I pounced on it! this is my current project plus angie just purchased a very solid 57 nash metro so im very busy with car projects.
