My addiction was started and promoted by Norm Grabowski, and my uncle Charlie Eschmann. When my uncle "Bud" as he was known was in the Navy he left behind several magazines known as Hot Rod to indoctrinate me to the cool world of cars. Big Daddy Ed Roth also deserves credit to keep me in school by getting extra homework assignments from reading Cartoons and like literary art in study hall. I like street rods, muscle cars, customs. I built my '55 chevy hardtop 20 years ago, I have put over 100,000 miles on it. I got "Mr Chevy", a '55 Chevy hardtop gasser just last fall. It was built in the late '60's and last ran in '76 when it was parked. I hope to have it running and ready to show this spring. I have been waiting to get started on my '65 Chevelle convertible for 10 years but a '66 SS 396 got in the way.
