Grew up close to Lakeland dragstrip. My dad was pretty good shade tree mechanic and helped me get started working on cars and had plenty of tools. One of my best childhood memories was when a friend of my dad's brought out a '52 Cadillac that had the motor taken apart and was in boxes in the trunk. Dad got to work on it and had it purring like a kitten.
