Always loved cars. December 30, 1954 episode of Dragnet, "The Big Rod" was the moment my life changed. I found out a week or so later, that the gent a couple streets over was the First guy in my City, to have built a Hot Rod. He was a well known Custom Car body man in the Boston area. I was 13 years old at the time, and still live just a stones through from him, today, July 29, 2009. This gent is a Marine Corps survivor of Iwo Jima! I'm proud to call him my friend and mentor.
