My first car was a 1942 Pickup with a flathead 6. I still own it 25 years later and have started collecting parts for a mild custom/traditional rod. With 4 kids time is tough to find, but I finally have a decent shop and more money than when I was 16 to do the car I always wanted. The 1.5 Ton was for parts, but I got the flathead V8 up and running and so it will also be a mild custom too. I have collected an original Isky cam and a dual carb Edmunds intake for the 6. Pre-family I had a 74 Caprice convertible with a hopped up 400 sb, a 72 Pontiac Granville conv. with a 455, and 68 Lemans hardtop that I swapped in a 455. I would eventually like to do a really traditional T rod, or a gasser.
