36 years ago I drove a 69 Chevelle (wish I still had that one) and was in a car club. I went to college, got married, sold the 69 for a Vega GT, and started my photography business as the track photographer at a local drag strip. Kids, mini-vans, kids in college, etc. took me away from hot rods but I always liked seeing a rod and getting interested in NASCAR. Then my son started classes in auto technology at UTI and it gave me an opportunity to buy the 49 Chevy for him to learn on and me to get back into hot rodding. We found this forum and he has registered. I decided I needed to also register so I can post my questions as I need much help with this 49.
