I still have my first car magazine Rodding and Restyling-Sept. 1960. I got it when I lived in Idaho. There is an article about Art Chrisman in it, I have since had the pleasure of meeting him. He comes into the NHRA Museum where I used work on a part time basis. This also gave me a chance to get to know Wally Parks. Wally introduced me to my favorite hot rod writer, Tex Smith. That's about as cool as it can get. The list of people I've met there amazes me, people I grew up reading about and never thinking I'd get to meet. Barris, Foose, Ivo, Leong, Armstrong, Force, Landy, Isky, Xyadias, Edelbrock, Mooneyham, Thorley, Teague, Covell, Winfield, and the list goes on. Gear head heaven!
Oh, did I mention meeting Linda Vaughn?
