I watched pops and my uncle shoe horn a newer ford engine into a 49 Ford 2 door. I was hooked after the first ride.
Did my first engine swap in 76 after blowing up my 3rd Pontiac bb in my 67 Firebird. Dropped in a Chevy 350/350 combo and had fun. I was16 at the time.
