Champagne for breakfast and a Sherman in my hand.
Peached up, Peached Ale, never fails.
Must have been a dream I don't believe where I've been.
Come on, let's do it again.

Do you...you, feel like I do?
    How'd ya feel?
    Do you...you, feel like I...

Do you feel like we do?
Do you feel like we do?
    Oh, that's true.
Do you feel like we do?
    Get back.
Do you feel..do you feel like we do?

Ah, the friday art shows up and rolling already!!!! great to see so many posting
... Im doing something a little different this week, showing a little more of design work instead the normal T-shirt art I throw up here... A couple of years ago I had this idea pop into my head for a bubble-top based on a 1960 Comet body turned around backwards.. after some doodles I drew up a full color version called the X-22 Comet and sent it off to RnC as a "dream rod"... but I couldnt get it out of my head and now its become my personal dream rod.
... I've changed the idea up a bit from its original configuration into something even more radical looking. Last week I posted a quicky sketch for the new version, and this week I took that basic idea into detail... This car is going to be built, I've already got some of the important parts for it and may be buying a Comet to start cutting up this week end... When I start doing that I will start a thread on it so the whole project can be followed...
... so here it is.. Cometron. Your basic mid-sixties futuristic bubble top drag machine. It will be silver on silver with lots of brushed and polished aluminum surfaces, minimal chrome... drivable.
... hopefully the car will be finished to debute at KROME 'n KANDY (our show) summer 2013

  12. That will be amazing when finished Jeff, can't wait!
    Nice stuff boys!
Spoggie, git 'er done! Nice start, mate!
    Bo, killer dirt bike...
    Neal,... ya nut!
Gary, Had one of those offered to me for 20K, wish I'd have done it but circumstances
and timing were not ideal. You nailed that one!
Buick, killer shot, Dirty one, youz too...

Pick ups and race cars, good themes. With that in mind, I spent a couple hours doodling this pair of sketches for possible use down the road...

I call this one, "Wrong Year" ( only a guy in Fort Worth Texas, named Mike, will know what that means.)

    This one delivers...

I hate the fact that I gather the most inspiration for the least important things, but yeah, here's a drawing for some random little contest:

    Hey folks!
It's been a while since I jumped on to post. I've been busy trying to finish my studio space that I started before my son was born a few years ago. Still cranking away there. I wanted to jump on because I have a timely post since it's Dream Cruise weekend here in the D. I was commissioned to do a t-shirt series for the famous Vinsetta Garage in Berkley, MI. It was the oldest filling station this side of the Mississippi, opening in 1919. Now, its one of the coolest hot spots for Garage eats in the area. At any rate, they asked me to do a shirt series for the Woodward Dream Cruise and wanted a Hotrod, Custom, Muscle. I go to thinking about it and really wanted to represent the Big 3 in the series as well.
In my mind (anyway) The Hotrod is a Ford, just plain and simple. I strayed from the classic (dare I say overdone Deuce) So I picked a '33 Ford Ragtop for it.
The Custom has to be a Chevy if going with the same logic. Not only should it represent a custom, but I was also thinking in the vein of Lowrider as well. I did a 1960 Impala with Cadi taillights.
Rounding out the Big 3 is Mopar, and the word synonymous with Mopar is Muscle. Again, straying from the norm of the of Dodge or Chrysler, I went with the dead brand of Plymouth with a 1969-70 Roadrunner.
Lastly, I had done a rendition of their Wrecker for their menu and turned that out again as part of the series
    [IMG]
These are available as soon as possibly today, but Saturday for sure. I hope to pop my head in the door to pick one up. It's going to be nuts there for sure.
