Does anyone know information on where to get a chrome oil pan for the 235 chevy or if there are any other years and size engine that may fit it?

From the chromer is the only advice I can give. I'm not sure there's any place to buy one except maybe used when they come up from time to time.

babbit pounder pans will not work on full pressure engines.

'53-54 full pressure engines have straight pan rails.

'55-62 engines have pan rails that aren't totally straight.

I've never heard of chrome or even aluminum oil pans for any stovebolt six.

Considering how easy it is for cheap chrome parts to rust, and the difficulty in keeping an oil pan clean, and that for the most part you can't even see it, I would suggest just painting it....

that's pretty much what I've decided to do. I'm just going to wire wheel it and buff it down and then paint it gloss black. that way it'll hide the dirt a little better. thanks for the input.
