Well the morris has been apart for 3 years now since we took it apart for paint. Since being torn down I decided to add a rollcage and do a major engine overhaul with some new additions and also upgraded a few other areas throughout the car(firewall, steering, interior, drivetrain, etc.). Its now going back together with a full forged blown and intercooled aluminum headed 383 small block with 3 2's that should be in the neighborhood of 600hp on pump gas :) Hopefully it doesnt take too much custom work on the holley 2100's to get them to work right on top of the blower. But anyways, the car will be painted by christmas, and I have untill march 26th to get the motor back in and get it all buttoned up for the 50th aniversary bash at speedworld here in town. I got a personal invitation to bring my car from the track announcer, just enough of a push to get the car done. I will gladly be posting picks of the car upon completion and you will probably see some videos of me on youtube with a grin ear to ear while tearin up the local streets. hahaha. :D:D Keep an eye out for an orange morris minor gasser that goes by the name "The HITMAN"

  7. Very cool!!! Love the name. I'd be planning on a lot more CFM that 3 - holley 2100's!! What's that 600 - 700 cfm tops? It'll be limiting for certain. The blower needs a lot of CFM to make 600 HP. I have a savage 6 x 2 671 top if you need it! Good luck. Love those little cars.

Yea I know. I was talking with our local injection specialist Bob Reem the other day and he confirmed that my 3x2 would not work no matter how much I dump into it. I'm really depressed cause I love the look. But I will have to figure out something else. He recommended I look for some some "Classic Gas" throttle bodies to do a 3x2 injection setup. They look just like strombergs and flow like crazy. I see many $$$$ though..... Im running a B&M 144 mini blower so my options are very limited unfortunately.

My dad tubbed a morris minor back in 78 or 79 for a maryville guy named jim warren. Very narrow rear end, and think it only had 10's on the back. I liked the turn signals

Im currently running 29x14x15's on the back. But It will accomodate up to 19" wide tire. I was running 29x18.50's sportsmans before. It looked like a steemroller lol..

I have come to terms that im not going to be able to run the 3 two's. But rather I am going to have a custom 3 throttle body setup made, and a programmable efi setup with fuel enrichment and timing retard. Hell we are all rich here right, why not, thats what I always say...

oh yea, there are tons of minors available if you just look for them, but at the same time you rarely see them on the road, thats what I love about it.

Well I just got done meeting with my injection guy and he wants to gut out my 3 holly's and turn them into simple throttle bodies to run with the custom computer setup. He said the holly 2100 flows like 210 cfm stock and he thinks he can bump it to 300cfm with all the guts taken out and a little modification, so with 3 of them and the blower drawing the air through it should not be a problem. And we are going to mount 4 83lb injectors in the adapter manifold just below the carbs. Its gonna set me back about $2500-$3k by the time its all said and done but I would rather pony up and have injection than spend $800-$1000 on a 4 barrel supercharger carb. and still have to worry about running lean, and lose the 3x2 look.

Grrrrrr.... This new engine is really trying to get the best of me. I was trial fitting the blower intake last night and it does not match up with the heads. I'm running world products aluminum race heads that I bought used, and it almost seems like the previous owner machined down the surface of the head that mates up with the intake, by a lot. I have almost a 1/4" gap between the head and the intake. So the 1/8" gaskets I have are no where close to working. I am gonna have to make some .100" intake gasket spacers and run gaskets on both sides. Not to mention that my blower intake is also stock port size and does not match up with the larger ports on the heads.:(:(
