I just started scanning my collection of Roth goodies, and putting the results up on my Flickr page. I just finished the decals and postcards, (about 300 of 'em!) next is the catalog interiors and the paper prints.

If you wanna look at the whole set, you'll need a (free) flickr account, because flickr is lame.

Really, not exactly politically correct, hence I love it! I'd never seen some of this shit before, even though I'm an old fuck. Good stuff!

The 'Nam images don't get seen a lot, but they are some of my favorites. Regardless of anyones' feeling about the Vietnam war, it's obvious that Roth cared about the guys that were over there fighting, most of them the same kids who were buying his model kits and sweatshirts only a few years before. The gung ho berzerk rock 'n roll energy of these always reminds me of Full Metal Jacket.

I think you may well be right, Im a little young to remember them but I have heard stories of the cops using modified minis (incl Coopers) to chase down 351 powered 4 door falcons. The irony may be those Falcons were sometimes known as Super Roos which may explain the kangaroos..... maybe some of the older Aussies may know more or have another idea :)

The Mini K was an Aussie special...it had different external door handles and bits and pieces to comply with the different Australian Safety rules, I had one 20 odd years ago it was a lot of fun, ya can't beat handbrake slides in a Mini !! That is a cool peice of art which I had seen before but being an Australian car I had'nt made the Roth connection..
