Have you stopped buying all the Twin Blue gauges, so it's safe to go back on Ebay? :)

Mr. Moriarity, I remember building a model of it years ago with the rubber band turn table and all. It's fun watching you bring stuff back to life! It's going to look great.:D

Thanks, It is both fun and a lot of work at the same time. they changed a lot more things to make the car into the tiger shark than what I originally thought.

This whole time I thought I was building "Moriarity style" cars. I guess I didn't get the memo. Ha Ha Ha

  25. OK... I'll say it!

Notice I used one of those high quality stainless RULERS, not one of those hokey wooden ones that the teacher used to belt us with. :)

So is this how it will look eventually?

yes thats it, still have a fair amount of things to fabricate yet, the headlight pod, headrests, side trim and nerf bars and the rectangular steering wheel to name a few.....

  27. A few...???

How does one fabricate a rectangular steering wheel precisely?

Serious question, as I've read that people cut down factory steering wheels. How do you rebuild the outer casing?

Dare I ask?...... what's a Borgward? Somewhere in my mess of a magazine collection I have the one with the dream rod on the cover. Could you give us a brief history lesson on it? My recollection is fuzzy. Very cool collection you're putting together.
