View Full Version : Idiots at work!!!!! Frame Table pics
Most of the boys got together this weekend and pitched in to build a frame table and some other misc. projects. Glasshole was the only one that had room in his shop plus he will be the first to use our frame table.
We used 2x6 tubing (a friend got scraps for me, dirt cheap). The table is 6 foot by 15 foot.
Here's a pic of Big Shooter (future HAMBer) using his lazer transit to make sure everything is level.

Big Shooter was a big help. Besides his transit he did a lot of the welding. Not to mention the comedy!

Mikey, Sumo and Glasshole did all of the lifting and cutting.
As soon as it was done we put it to use building Sumo and Glasshole a frame.
No frame table is complete with out a beer holder!!

Big Shooter seems to be proving the slogan, that it does, in fact, take "a little more to be Champion." http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
We built the table yesterday. Today we worked on the frames and was joined by Onelow48 and JayGeff (he's a great little bitch) Onelow worked on his woman's Buick and Gayjeff helped wherever he could.
It's great working with these guys. My backs out and I didn't have to lift a thing, BUT they will take advantage of you when you're down. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Looks good guys. Next time I'm home I'll have to come check it out...and see if I can break something on it.

looks great. wish i could get some of these Michigan homos together to build one of those. thats a great group project cause it would't cost anyone alot of cash and everyone could use it. i mean unless you run a chassis business how often would you need it? but it sure would be handy when you did.
JT ...sorry!!!
Duck.. I don't think you could break ANYTHING on this. Even the beer holder is heavy duty.
KB....It's gonna be tied up for a while. Glasshole is building a frame for his 33 Chevy coupe and helping Sumo build one for his 35 Ford modified pick up. Then I'll get it for my 32. It will be worth it just for those frames. I've got plans for at least 2 more projects I'll need it for. The only problem will be having a place to put it when we're not using it.
Clark
By the way having that transit made it easy to build. It could make sure it was still level and not even set his beer down.

I think I just went blind http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif. Those are some cool guys
sowhat,
i doubt that you'll have a problem finding a place to store it. i'm thinkin' your problem will be "who's got it?" when you need it.
sorta like owning a car hauler trailer, if ya know what i mean.

No tool cart is complete without one. Especially if it's Godzilla!
