Hey Everybody,

My name is CHandler and I am a fan of 1958 anything, so if you have something cool talk to me. I Own a 1958 cadillac 2drht coupe deville, 1958 Chevrolet delray, and a 58 impala that is going to require some serious love.I love my cars, but I am always willing to trade if someone has something that I like better.I am looking for a 58-59 big back window fleetside chevy apache, so if anyone has one talk to me.

Thanks, Chandler

What the hell is so "nice" about the intro...the rest of us on this board know absolutely nothing about this guy...other than he likes '58's...BFD...I like '57's...but at least in most intros its listed where they live, what cars they have, what they are working on, how old they are, are they married, got kids and why they wanted to join this board...what makes this guy so special?

Oh yeah, I'm with the closet intro-police!!!

Welcome from one Texan to another. I think I met you a couple of years ago in Austin. Did you have your Delray at the Round Up? I also have a 58 in the family which my son drives most of the time.

Yes, I was at the 1st round up. I entered my 58 delray and she was really dirty. I didn't wash her or anything. The car had been in our shop all week getting the coils traded for air bags.I barely had her ready to drive before the show.THanks for the welcome.

I have already started on the 58 delray. She is bagged and shaved. All I really need to do now is paint her. After that, its just big whites and a 4 speed.

Welcome to the H.A.M.B. I new too. For 22 you have some nice rides. '57-'58 Cads are one of my favorites, they're unfortunately too long for my garage.

Now thats a nice 58 chevy. I wish I was bringing my delray to the round up this year so I could park it next to that.I am going to bring it next year though, and hopefully I will have her painted. I love my caddy also but I feel like I am neglecting her, because I don't have the time or money for a 3rd project right now.I might even sale her because the car is just too nice to let sit.

So, in that pic of the Impala, are you taking the front bumper off, or putting it on? ....a gasser 58 Impala...hmmm...that'd be kinda different.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Anyway, nice looking rides ya got there, and welcome to the board!

THat was when I first brought the car home and she didn't have the bumpers on yet. They will eventually go back on though.
