I'll try and get some info. on it. I grew up in Roswell but the name isn't familiar to me.

Cougdan, call Callaway safety equipmentin Hobbs. It was someone in his family I believe. I think the guys name is Steven.Did you know the Hensons there? Bull Henson he was an old drag racer out of Roswell. daryl Werley? I'm from Crane originally.TP

i was in a shop owned by a former drag racer and mentioned the body on e-bay. i did NOT mention color, but did mention owner.

bob said--"there was a guy named jim calloway racing a yellow model 'a' roadster back in the 70's". he went on to say that the car was a dragster running a small block chevy. and that it was fitted with a seat in the center. so i guess that's why the cockpit was cut out so that the driver would sit farther back---
