This is kind of like going on tour with the band, only different.... The first time I was in Austin there were tornados and a bunch of people died. I was in the bedroom of the bass player of the Hard Feelings house with the Mistreaters and everyone was freaking out. We had pillows on are heads...... The show got canceled cause Beerland got flooded. That sucked kinda.

But this is exciting.
Hopefully I will sell the 28 sedan within a couple weeks and get the money to finish the Bleedster. It needs more chrome, and some candy. I was tempted to throw it together, but it needs to be finished for real.

If its done then we are bringing it, if not then we'll take the green one.

We might be bringing a top secret roadster with us as well, we'll see what happens. I can't wait. On the way down we are stopping at Graceland to dig up Elvis......

This will be fun, can't wait.

Hey the last time this came up, I offered Tuck some space at my house to park his truck and trailer and drive the Hex down with us from Ft. Worth to Austin.

That offer is still open to anyone coming from up north that wants to run down with us on the Friday. I've got a safe place right off I-35 for anyone that needs some space for anything.

I think there's going to be a pretty good sized convoy of us dorks from DFW driving down that Friday morning. Glad to here you Midwesterners are gonna make the trip down.

I think we could do that. Those of us on the Ft. Worth side could meet up and cruise down on I-35W and cut over (for about 5 mi.) on FM2959 to Carl's Corner to meet up with the guys driving down on I-35E from Dallas. Then we could convoy down to Austin from there.

The circle at Waco gets a little crowded.
