I think yours is boiler plate. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Tell ya what we used to do. We used to make a hoop on the chassis to support the cowel, then bolt the firewall to the cowl. You can make it out of anything that way.
Not hard to make one, just get some sheet metal and start cutting.
Somewhere I have a link to model T parts. I'll look for it in my wanderings today.
You can make one easy dude. You've got a plasma cutter and everything. I might have a sheet of 16ga steel big enough to do the job.
Will you be at the shop tonight?

I thought it had a piece of steel welded in there.
If so, just cut it about 2" in from the edge to use as a flange, trace the front of the cowl onto a piece of aluminum and then bolt the sucker on...
Oh wait, you didn't want to know how to do it... nevermind. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
