A buddy that has helped me with my pickup (ex 60's gasser driver) gave me this GMC blower and a really cool glass swirl shift knob. In believe the blower is a GMC 4-53 and it is in excellent shape. He said a guy in a local club in the 60's ran one on a V8 60 in a tall T. Does anyone run one of these? It sure would look cool on my flat motor. It is at least great garage art.
In his garage he has his 1960's Gasser Anglia with it's original race car paint and lettering. He ran a SBC w/ a four speed during it's racing career, but he is now installing a blown 354 hemi w/ a race prepped auto. I'll try to get some photos and post them for you gasser guys. He was Wayne Harry's & Jack Koonrod's crew chief during the sixties and seventies. He sure knows his way around an early Ford and he still builds race trannies for quite a few local drag racers!
