Before I got a chance to post this on the tubing question thread, it was movet to the Tech-O-Matic. So here goes...
There are companies out there that have threaded bungs that you can weld in to tubing to do things like make tierods, panhard rods, four-link bars, wishbones, etc. The only reason I bring it up is because you can get them with hardened threads. I know they're more expensive then running a tap through some DOM tube, but they're super strong and I have never had one jam. They come in both right & left hand threads in a lot of different sizes.
