Well, the seat done by FL is now on the Schwinn. He sent me a bonus stiping, way cool, thanks again. I also got a little farther on the chopper. To top it off, the drag quad I helped with the frame build, now has a power plant.

Dude, your CBX based quad is insane! No person in their right mind should even consider such a thing. Of course, now I'm going to have to build one too. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

This one belongs to a customer/friend/shop neighbor of Olsen. I just help with shit there. It is for the sand drags and should do over 100mph in the 1/8th. And yes, I do want to try it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is some sick use of a CBX motor http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif) we see some pretty grunty Quads down here for the race to the sky (kinda like Pikes Peak)from memory there is a GSXR-1100 powered one and perhaps even a twin enging one, these guys must be nuts, its a long way down and nothing to stop ya !!!

Did I mention I've had this bike since 8th grade? I bought it off a neighbor for $80 when it was 3 months old. Here I am pimpin with the hoes at age 14 (circa 1985). It was still just a 5 speed then, I made it a 10 speed in 9th grade. Then changed things over the years. I have had this bike over 55mph, too fast to pedal. That hill is a great one to go down, although the speed limit is only 50mph on it.

Schwinn Pimpin'! Man that bike looks nicer all the time. I dig the gauge on it, too.
So are you gonna get to ride that drag quad, before the customer takes it home?

The customer has it already. He put in the motor. But it is just 2 doors down form Olsen's. The same guy with the sand drags Jeep. He's cool and will let me put it around if I want. Just won't get to race it.

I was wondering what took so long. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I left it unpolished and all the edges sharp in hopes to fake you out. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

At least it's hand made one of a kind. I just might be the first one with a caliper brake on this type springer fork.

I don't know how a CBX motor will do in a quad at the sand drags, but the Los Leos team runs over 175 on the salt with theirs in an original frame. (not streamlined, btw)

I can hear those Jr. High girls now... "Is that your bicycle seat making that bulge in your Jogger Shorts or are you just glad to see us!" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

So Eric, what happened? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm sure glad I got rid of that look, worse than my mullet in high school. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Seriously, the one in black is my sister, that's why she's doin the bunny ears. The one on the other end I met that day. She gave me her number but she moved before we could get together. Oh, the bulge is always there. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Dude your in the sandhills of NC. Have you been out to the far parts of Bragg? There's some pretty cool sandhills (dunes?) out that way. Just head over towards Southern Pines. There are also some cool dunes on the outer banks. Hell we had some good dirtbike trails in High School in Hope Mills that were nothing but sandhills. Get out there and look. And buy zgears 40 body it's right over in Sanford.
