This car has been in the family since it was new,,

here are a few pictures of what got accomplished today after
sandblasting...UGH!

wheel lip had to be made,,,,that took a lotta strechin' and twisting to get the shape correct.

a new inner panel was formed with a hammer and a few choice words.

I'm right there with ya. Got some serious swiss cheese on my hands held together with plastic & undercoating. You're making excellent progress!

Thanks,,,the curved piece for the wheel well was formed using a Eastwood tool,,,a hand operated shrinker/strecher....it takes a lotta effort but it works.

the metal is 20 guage and using the strecher side of the tool makes the metal curve one way and the shrinker side of the tool pulls the metal the other....

My grandfathers 54 has the same rot. My stupid btother let it sit outside for 10 years. I am hoping to use the quarters off my parts car so I dont have to fabricate as much as you did. I admire your skill.
