I have 2 sets of guide headlamps and they are the same except one set has the pointed type of glass inside the little top part(sorry i dont know the right names for this stuff) and the other set has the more rounded ones like i normally see. Does anybody know what they come off of? Do you know what the significants of both are? Thanks alot.

Nick

The little top part is the turn signal.
The rounded ones are like the ones on a pair of Guide 682-C headlamps that I have.
I've seen them on many makes and models. Alot of them were on mid to late 30's trucks. Internationals had 'em.
Guide must have supplied alot of the auto makers.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

mine are the peaked type. I believe 1940 was the first year for most sealed beams. These bezels are repro's of 40's era Chevy trucks. P.S. Mine are longer than most I've seen. There are lots of variations.

Nic they were used on alot of ditterent trucks. I've got them off Reo,White,Broadway, and Dodge. I don't know what determined the park lamp lense. The rounded top lense won't fit right in the pointed housing and I'm sure the other way won't work either.
